Cherry pickin' time!

Erwin using his awesome cherry picker :)
I grew up with a wonderful cherry tree in my grandma's backyard. When I was little, my cousins and I would lean over from the top balcony or climb to the highest branch, just to get all the perfect red cherries. Now that we have that very tree as our own in the backyard, Erwin LOVES them. They aren't quite ripe, but he doesn't care. He wants to eat them, and he wants to eat them now. Most of the red ones are at the very top, so we can't quite get to them, which made Erwin impatient. So one day, he took a metal hanger, a wooden rod and a plastic bag, and morphed it into his awesome cherry picking creation! It made me laugh. He climbed up the branches and had the hanger twisted just right so it can tear a cherry off the tree and fall right into the bag taped on right below. So when he has the urges for some not-so-quite-ripe cherries, he knows just how to get to them. I love his creativity and how fun he makes life! And the cherries are pretty good too! :)

Meags: It LOOKS like Gramma Kua's mango picker too! :) And it would be Erwin not to be patient with it. *lol*
