I had a long day at work. Erwin had decided to go late to Provo, and while he was at home, he cleaned the house, made the bed and left me these three surprises. I had no idea. He even visited me at my work and brought me lunch. I thought he was just having a more relaxed day. Turns out, he had been working all morning, before he left for his later classes.
I have deadlines that need to be met. I have been sitting if from of a computer almost every day, ALL day,
The first rose was found in the bedroom. My heart melted as I walked through the door (we have a door that leads to our room) and saw the rose. Erwin knew I would probably go to the bathroom next. And I did, and there was the second rose on the sink. Last but not least, I headed to the living room and found the last one on the couch, with a card. It was a full written card, expressing love, appreciation, trust, confidence and support. I love reading "There is no one on this earth who knows me as well or as deeply as you do. You know everything about me, and who I truly am." Or "I did this just because I love you" and "All I want to do is show you that you come first, and I appreciate who you are in my life." or "I'm praying for you and your long days. Thanks for all your hard work and sacrifice."
I got a bit teary. His words were perfect and touched my heart. He put a smile on my face that brightened my heart and soul. I felt uplifted and loved. Ahh....the little moments of life, that make you happy.
Isn't he SO wonderful? Yeah...I think so too. :)
