I have been horrible about posting pictures and blogging! I think about it quite often, but can't really ever get the time to blog the way I would like. Mostly, it's because I don't have my own computer and it's hard to share with Erwin for his, when he has his own projects and stuff he is working on. But, I hope to get my own computer soon, and when that day comes I just know I will be better about it! :)
For now, here are a few pictures to catch up on things we have been doing.
| I am big into making homemade bread lately. It's delish! |
| Kelli gave me a musubi maker! I have learned to like these, so it was fun to make. |
| Please meet the oh-so-famous, Three Danger. Yes, yes... that is his real name...I got to babysit him and he is a love! |
Erwin playing around at Zurchers. The more we visit that place, the more I love it!
Okay, so it was my Grammy's birthday on the 13th of October. Erwin and I decided that we would do things in honor of her, with and for my dad. We knew he was missing her, and on her birthday we wanted to remember her at her finest and most fun moments. We surprised my dad by showing up, and having all of these things ready for us to do together. He LOVED it. And we had fun remembering her. |
| We had our "cocktail hour" with martini's. With two green olives of course! (it's really just lemon water) But it was always custom to sit and have drinks before dinner. My grammy loved her Martinis! |
| Grammy was a queen to hosting. I grew up always having cheese and crackers or some other spread, to much on before we sat down to eat the main course. So we ate our apps before dinner, and chatted all about Grammy. |
Last but not least, we make pink flamingo cupcakes. Grammy loved flamingos and would often have them around as decor. They were a fun way to finish the night!
We love you Grammy, and miss you always! Your love, spunk, kindness and generous heart is missed. |
| Erwin spilled a ton of ink from cartridges into our bathroom sink....We weren't too happy. And those cartridges are all for his costume! (more to come later) |
| My trooper needed new tires, so Erwin went and replaced them for me. The next day, one of the tires was flat! Thank goodness Steve had a pump. We then went and got it fixed. For free of course. |
More pics to come!
