Halloween was pleasantly fun for me this year. I wasn't sure Erwin and I would get to wear any costumes, because we were in Hawaii over the days our ward had two of it's Halloween parties. And those parties of course were our opportunities to dress up and have fun. Thanks to my sister Cami, we were able to not only dress up, but go trick or treating! What fun it was to take our little nephew around to a few houses and go get some candy. Kaleb was so great and loved every minute. He kept laughing, running up to doors, dancing and was a big hit with everyone who saw him. It was so fun, and Erwin and I loved the time we had to spend with the little guy.
Like I said, Cami had us over to her house for dinner and Halloween fun! We all dressed up, and everyone who brought/made food did such a great job! Everything was just perfect for a Halloween treat.
Now when it came to Erwin and his costume, he made it all himself, and he sure worked so hard on it. It is so fun for me to have such a creative and fun spouse. Watching Erwin in action is so intriguing to me, and I can't believe how talented he is. He did such an amazing job on his costume, and besides not being able to see my living room floor for months, I really enjoyed watching him in his element of creating. His costume consisted of many trips to the DI for most of the material, and foam from a tool store.He molded, cut, glued, bolted, painted and designed the whole costume, and I couldn't be more impressed!! I just know our future kids will always have the best costumes!! haha. Here are some pics:
