I can't believe that an entire year has passed since my baby boy was born. It seems like just yesterday we were just coming home from the hospital, getting ready to start our new family together! Wa'a has brought immense joy into our lives. He is such a fun, cheesy, independent, smart, strong willed, hilarious, loving little boy, and everyone I know adores him and his contagious smile and big cheeks. He has allowed me to love more than I ever thought possible, and trust me---I love that boy something fierce! He is my whole world and I can't imagine life without him.
Some fun facts about him:
*He is a lover of chasing games and hide and seek.
*He is the happiest when he is naked. Period.
*He has to climb stairs by himself or you insult him by carrying him.
*Sponges and bouncy balls are his favorite toys ever.
*He is a giver of hugs and face sucking kisses.
*He is the most loving baby. He waves hi, smiles and wants every stranger to hold him and feel loved by him.
*His talking volume is on loud, almost always.
*He is obsessed with jumping on the tramp. He has no fear.
*He cries when you won't let him play and run, but almost never cries when he falls down and scrapes his knee or face or bonks his head. He's brave.
*He loves to eat ice chips
*He comes running out from any room with his hands in the air, bouncing up and down, when he hears certain songs on YouTube, Radio, etc.
*He loves water.
We were also able to have a birthday party for him, to celebrate turning one! It turned out to be a success and I am SO grateful for all the help and support we had in planning and executing this party so that it was possible and very fun! I truly have the most supportive and loving family and friends, and I thank all of them who came! We sure love you all!
