Christmas post part 3

Erwin got for us a light kit that allows a photographer to take more professional photos. I was so happy! I have always wanted one, and when a good deal arrived, we snagged it!
We decided to take Christmas pictures of the kids this year, and the entire process was so fun. Despite the kids not sitting still, we had a good time and enjoyed how the final pictures turned out. Below are just the ones I got on my phone. :)

Christmas morning finally came! I was so happy it had arrived and we could not wait to open gifts. This year, our family was blessed by the generosity of others when it came to presents for our children. Some of the people we knew, but some we did now and felt overwhelmed for others love and generosity to bless our family during our hard time.
The kids got such great things and we loved to watch them open up each gift. Christmas is so much better through the eyes of a child, and I love each minute of it.

After presents, we drove to my parents house on a snowy winter afternoon! It was gorgeous!

We have the same meal each morning and it is to DIE for, I love how festive my mom makes everything.

It felt SO good to me to be home during this Christmas. I don't see my parents super often, and with my broken leg and tired soul, I found such rest while there on this day. We ate, sang, open gifts and ate some more. ahhhh.

One of my favorite trees to drive past on our way home.

Your Christmas pictures really did turn out so great! And what a picturesque Christmas snow day. (Although I enjoy seeing it through pictures! Haha) And nothing beats celebrating Christmas right in the comforts of home!!! :) Glad you were able to enjoy the holiday!
