For our 6 year anniversary, I surprised Erwin by taking him to Desert Star, which is a theater that offers a live show and dinner. The musicals are usually a funny parody off of something popular, and ours was "Indiana Bones".
We had yummy popcorn at our table and were able to order pizza and drinks. During intermission we ordered a dessert and got refills.
We were seated at a 3 person table, (which we didn't realize) so a really nice girl came and joined us at our table, who was there to support a friend of hers in the show. She felt a little silly being there by herself and even more guilty that she was at our table while celebrating our anniversary, but she was so nice and we chatted and had a good time.
Overall we laughed lots at the show. We rolled our eyes at cheesy puns and chuckled at the local jokes they would tell. The singing was talented and the live pianist was amazing! The food we so yummy and the overall crowd was so great.
We had a good time!
Happy 6 years to us!
