Catch up part 3!

Kids are stirring awake from their naps, so I wanted to dump more photos of our happenings!

We love our friends, the Yellowhorses. We went to their house to play and of course, they all are drawn to dirt like a moth to a flame...

Clara is the only girl with this gang. They all felt the need to rub her head.

I love the little smudge of dirt on her nose.

This is how I feel on Monday's...

Speaking of the Yellowhorse family, one Monday night they knocked on our door and asked if they could go and help prune our massive tree in the backyard. It has incredibly heavy branches that are hanging over some cables in our yard, and it worries me. I had mentioned to Tina that I wanted to try to prune the tree before we called professionals. So she came with her husband Shaun to help. It was so kind of them and they did their best and worked for quite a long time in getting the clearing started. Sigh. I am grateful for friends who serve and love us. <3

I try to walk to the store if I can, to get the kids outside and burn some calories. The Smith's grocery is about a 15 minute walk from our house, and they sell the yummiest donuts. Waa LOVES donuts. Chocolate with sprinkles are his favorite, and if he brings his 35 cents from his piggy bank, he gets to buy one. Or sometimes I spoil him and buy it for him. :)

She often falls asleep on our walks, which is hard bc it messes up her sleep schedule. :/

Well what do you know, a 24 hour bug came and hit everyone but Erwin earlier this month. And it was HARD.
Kekai was first. She did horrible during the day and threw up 4 times.

Waa felt great during the day, but then the bug hit him badly around Midnight. He threw up 11 times! I got no sleep. Poor little man.

I slept with him on the pull out couch bed, and helped him get as much rest as possible.

He slept in until 9;30. That has never happened before.

I did not take pics of me sick, but the day after, I threw up twice! And it was right as Erwin was out the door to work. He had to go to a meeting and felt awful leaving me with the kids alone, but he was able to come home around 2:30 instead of 7:00. whew. It was rough being sick, and throwing up is awful.

More sleep helped us all recover.

One day we spent a lot of time at my parents house. Neither one of them were home, but we got to enjoy the cool rain and gorgeous plush green yard. And of course, Lola, the dog!

This is Wa'a cooking dinner for us one night. All we did was add the ingredients to the pan, and he stirred it all up. It was so sweet of him to want to help.

In Jr. High I played on the school basketball team and enjoyed my teammates. One particular girl who was on my team, moved with her family into my old ward with my parents. When she heard all that I have gone through (from my mom's RS lesson) she went home and said she cried and felt prompted to make me something with this quote on it. It was so kind for her to do this for me, even after not seeing me for 10 yrs! I am grateful for those to take the time to show love, and I was so touched when I got this. God bless my angles everywhere.

This is Waa playing hide and go seek with Erwin. He loves to hide in this spot. We laughed a long time playing all together. :)

My dear friend Suvadee invited us over to chat and play, and we all had a great time.

Waa crawls into bed with us almost every morning, and this particular morning he thrashed a lot and kept hitting Erwin in the head. :p
