A good portion of my pictures from the summer will be with me and the kids at the small park that is up the street from our house. I try to go for a walk every other day and we end it by stopping at the playground so they can run around and get wiggles out. I of course always join in on the fun, and it's the perfect size play equipment (plus is close to home) so we love it.
After we get home from our walks we play in the backyard for a little bit before we head in to eat lunch. Blowing bubbles is their favorite thing to do with each other.

A few Saturday's ago, we invited the Rivas fam and Ally for lunch at a local park/lake near our house. It was windy and a bit chilly, but we all had a great time. The kids loved chasing the ducks and Cam and I walked around the lake with the kids to chat and stretch our legs. Ally and the guys tried fishing for a bit and hanging out by the water. It was great fun and so beautiful!

After we got home from lunch, my parents came to visit and my dad brought me some plants and flowers! My mom watched the kids so I could get to planting with my dad! Erwin helped by turning over the soil and adding new dirt and digging holes for the new plants. I then planted all the flowers and day lilies with the help from my dad. It took hours and was much longer than I thought it would be. But I appreciate the hard work and help from Erwin and my parents to help make the outside of our house look a little bit nicer.

Last Saturday the Rivas fam called us and asked if they could stop by and bring lunch. It was such a nice surprise since we hadn't eaten and I had just gotten done mowing the lawn. I was tired, and thanks to Cam I didn't have to cook.
After lunch, Josue and Erwin went to go the the new Gaurdians of the Galaxy movie, and Cam and I chatted and then she helped me plan some family meals on my limited budget. The kids then got hungry for dinner, so we went and got Wendy's and everyone chatted and played until 10:00 p.m. It was a great day with great company and we had lots of fun.
