Photo dump

Dump time again. I know that my picture dumps sometimes get confusing and jump from one story to another real quick. Thanks for reading anyway and enjoying the randomness of the blog order. :)

I often find Wa'a wrapped in his blanket and reading a book on the floor. He loves books.

She spent forever hiding under here and loved it.

I seriously love when BOTH my kids fall asleep. Especially at the same time! :)

I found Kekai like this one morning. The sheets off Wa'a's bed and her fast asleep on top of them. What on earth did they do in the middle of the night together?

"Momma, I'm fresh and clean!" #haircutlove

Hiding yet again under a table outside with her friend Niksen.

Clara loves to lay this way on Erwin's shoulders. While shopping she fell fast asleep it was so funny.

Warmer weather=bike rides! Thank goodness she doesn't mind the helmet.

Sunday lovin'. I thought she looked darling in this dress that looks like it's from the 90's and her mary jane shoes. :)

She's not always up for picture taking. :)

Memorial Day fun! We had Ally and John Parker over for dinner. We had hot dogs, salad, watermelon, chips, corn and drinks. It was so yum! Ally played with the kids and chatted with me until waaaaaay too late. Erwin and John played some magic game and then John headed to the ER after dinner to find out he has kidney stones! Poor guy. But it was a great night and great fun.
Wa'a isn't always so great at driving his truck, so Ally pushed the gas with a stick all around the yard and they got a free ride. :p

He wanted to try again on his own and ended up driving into trees or in circles all night.

Erwin's feast!

Clara loves to yell "Go!" when we ask her to. She was having the time of her life telling Erwin when to throw the ball to Kehau and giggling and jumping out of delight. She makes me happy.

I spy with my little eye...

This is Wa'a's first portrait. He has never drawn a person before and I did a little giddy mommy dance in the kitchen to see that he understood the concepts of the head, eyes, nose, etc. Finally!

Boy shirt and nerd glasses. She is the best.

Erwin's old roommate from Cinnamon tree invited our family and John over for a bbq. We haven't seen them in 4 years, so we had a nice time catching up and letting the kids play.

I made rainbow cookies for dessert. They were so pretty! Red, green, yellow, purple, pink and blue. They were a hit!

My mom brought me over a bunch of stuff of mine from my old house, and of course what was supposed to be a simple visit turned into her buying groceries to make us all dinner. It was a tender mercy because I had nothing ready and was going to resort to cereal. No joke. She is the best cook, and is so patient when Wa'a wants to cook with her. She of course read lots of books to the kids before she left and served me in lots of other ways before leaving. I love her.

LOVE photo dumps! Adorable as ever--but they're getting so big!!! Your yard looks amazing, your Memorial Day platter literally made my mouth water, I love seeing them develop and grow, and thank heavens for great family and friends, yeah?! ;) XOXO

Awesome family photo and video journaling. They are precious now, and will be worth their weight in gold one and two decades from now. But for now, enjoy each day.
