Father's Day came, and we all had a great time showing Erwin lots and lots of love. The kids woke up him with homemade cards, breakfast and kisses. After church we went to my parents home to celebrate with them, and give my own dad a big hug and lots of love from me/us too. It was great weather, gorgeous yard, yummy food and fun activities.

| Having Clara sit and hold a book, let alone look at it is a big deal for her. It's been happening a lot more lately and I'm so pleased. |

| This kid infuriated me. I heard a huge crash from inside my house and I ran out with the kids to see what happened. I saw this young man had crashed into a parked car one house up from me. I made sure he was ok, offered my phone and some water and waited until the cops showed up. He was crazy calm and didn't seem fazed that he just totaled his car. But I was so mad bc I knew he was speeding and on his stupid phone. What if I had been crossing the street with my kids? Or even were safe on the sidewalk when he swerved over bc he was distracted? Feeling grateful no one was hurt. |
Okay, the baking bug has hit me hard. I have been dabbling here and there with trying new things to bake from scratch, and I am so pleased to say I am doing well so far. I feel kind of silly, bc so many people in my life have been doing these things for years, but I am glad I am starting now and learning to love it.

| My sister gave me her old double stroller, and it is a dream!! I have tried so many and I love this one so much. So do my kids. My walks are so much easier and smooth. |

Clara has to be by Wa'a when he's asleep, She'll lay next to him and either be really good, or really naughty and pull his hair until he wakes up.
