Happenings

Here we go again.... :D

Clara loves to sleep with her face covered now.
Um...found this beast in my house. It took me over 2 hours to get the courage to take him outside after catching him. I was so disturbed.

I love surprise flowers from Erwin. I thought these were quite pretty.

My family makes a pioneer treat every Pioneer Day, called Penny Candy.

Once it is done cooking, you pour it onto a sheet to let cool before you start to pull it.

You  need to pull it while it is still quite warm. You do it until the color changes to a light brown.

I didn't realize how hot it was and I stuck my hand into the scalding liquid. I was in SO much pain.

This was my ice pack since my mom and lent out all of her others. An old frozen bag of breast milk. HA!

This is even weirder. I drove home with this oven mitt on my hand so the ice would stay in place and keep my burn cool.

Kids played while we made the candy.

The beginning stages of my burn bubble. It only tripled in size from here on out.

Sleep buddies.

Morning rabbit findings.

She would follow her brother to the ends of the earth.

I took this, bc Wa'a hates eating. He always has. Sometimes Erwin needs to sit him down and hold him just to get Wa'a to take a small bite of food.

Sabbath day vibes

There's that stink face of his. He doesn't need Mommy hanging around anymore to baby him.

Costco run

We tried Cupbop for dinner one evening in honor of Meags!
The kids actually did really well with this food. They gobbled it down. I unfortunately did not like one thing about this food. Sorry Meags!

More sleep love

Her favorite hiding spot.

She got to get all muddy and just enjoy herself this day.

We went to a fundraiser dinner and live band show that raised money for police officers and their families. Erwin knew the drummer in the band who performed.

My little helper

Our yard is so big and a huge pain to mow. But we love love the space it has and gives to play in.

Wa'a is so willing to help out with chores lately.

Cute Wa'a couldn't find his underwear, so he put a diaper on himself so he could work outside next to daddy.

We had a "we-need-to-get-out-of-the-house" day. So Arctic circle is my go to place since the playground there is smaller and safer for my kids.

My little chef! He seriously loves cooking.

We bought more sand for the sandbox. Kids love it.
