I love that we are in walking distance from our community center. It is where SO many town events are held. Recently we walked down to attend the PG Summer-Bration.
Usually these events are way too crowded. But this night was perfect. It was cloudy and cool. There was a steady flow of people, but nothing overwhelming.
There was a live band, tons of tents where people were selling fruit and veggies, and also homemade goods.
There were pony rides, a bounce house slide, a small lizard petting area and cute areas all around for the kids to play.
I love to support local businesses and farmers. So we bought some fresh peaches and raspberries and and course, some kettle corn for Erwin. But we especially loved the cotton candy station where they served specialty flavors that were delicious! We got passion fruit with sprinkles!
It was such a good night and it was good for my heart to get out and enjoy the perfect evening together.
