Half naked and with chocolate all over their faces, they giggled, laughed, played, hugged and loved on one another. No one can make Clara Joy laugh like Wa'a can. And there's no one he loves more making laugh than her.
I placed both of them on the counter while I was getting them a drink of juice. I overheard Wa'a say to Clara: "We are best friends huh? Yes we are! Bestest friends!"
My tender mother heart was so touched and a smile crept over my face as I overheard more conversation and giggles. But I was also touched because I knew what Wa'a said was true.
I am so thankful for my two children who love each other deeply. Clara finds comfort and companionship in Wa'a. And Wa'a is devoted to protecting her and is so supportive of her journey to understand, talk, grow and learn.
Oh, I love how they love each other.
I tried to get Wa'a to repeat what he said to Clara and maybe catch him giving hugs and kisses. But he thought I was taking a picture the entire time. ;)
