More and more

Wa'a had a Halloween party at his preschool a few weeks ago. I went with the kiddos and we enjoyed a few simple games, bag making and yummy treats!

We went to support the Rivas kids in their Primary program. We sat in the very back and it's a good thing we did, bc Wa'a was determined to be able to see the cousins at all times. He would stand on Erwin's lap and do his "seeking out" pose. We kept giggling. He would then whisper really loudly "I see them! There they are! I see Ju and Kaleb. Look up there! loooooook!!!"

But the best part was when Kaleb was in line to say his part at the pulpit, he noticed us in sitting in the back and started to wave frantically at us. Wa'a waved back and then said "Go Kaleb!" all while giving him two thumbs up and shaking his body vigorously. It was hilarious and had Kaleb laughing and the people in front of us laughing too.

Costco run!

He loves to tackle her (gently) and she loves it right back.

I found her fast asleep behind the bean bag.

Ugh. I hate when she would rather wear her food than eat it.

I love every single thing about fall. We spent a long Saturday just sitting outside and staring at the trees and playing in the leaves.
Fall is here!

While we were waiting to eat dinner, Wa'a was making Kekai laugh hysterically. It was the sweetest sound.

My mom saved a lot of my clothing I wore as a child and gave them to me when I got married. This sweatshirt was my favorite of mine as an 80's baby. It is so fun to have Clara wear it (and so much more) now.

Sodalicious is such a cliche here in Utah. Along with Swig and Fizz. I never understand why women would wait in line forever just to get a specialty drink and cookie. Then one day I was gifted a pumpkin sugar cookie and an interesting Dr Pepper mix drink, that I actually liked! It was SO good. But I refuse to let it control me. ;)

Clara Joy is still attending her class, which I really love. BUT, she is not doing well with the "work" part anymore. When we need to sit and work on her box and do the activities, she refuses to sit, loses interest easily and does not want to do more than 5 minutes of work. She used to sit and work for 20 minutes, so this is a struggle. I even swapped out toys, projects and work for her to do and she still isn't having it. It makes it frustrating.

We painted pumpkins last class. She could have cared less about the pumpkin. She just loved having the paint on her hands. It must have felt good on her fingers and been exciting for her to have her hands covered in colors. She just sat there in awe.

4. Do you ever play with shaving cream with her? (Not sure if you'll regre it later on. Haha) My kids loved that too!
