Duck Pond

This park is about 10 minutes away from our house. My friend introduced it to me over 2 years ago, and it is still one of my most favorite places on the planet. It is the best in the fall, and I always feel such peace come over me when we go. Sounds silly, but I do. It is family friendly, gorgeous, and the best way to be outdoors.

Wa'a and me looking at the ducks

We taught Clara how to throw rocks into the water. We should have done this last since she threw a huge tantrum as we left to go walk around more.

The sand volleyball court is a favorite.

These pics look like I'm scolding Wa'a. But in reality we are holding hands and swinging them back and forth and being silly.

Ah-maz-ing.
My insanely handsome son. He loves this spot over looking the lake.

Watching airplanes go by.

Showing her all the ducks and fish.

Three of us!

Four of us! Sort of... #claranothavingit

She didn't want me to touch her hair, so it was long and all over the place.

What beauty to be there at sunset. It took my breath away!

Favorite view.

Poor Clara wanted to run all over and never look back. So having daddy restrain her did not make her happy at all.

All the heart eyes for this pic. This is our favorite place to sit and picnic!

There were so many birds flying in formation throughout the night.

We left on such a good note. I am so thankful for these nights and for God's hand in creations.
