Halloween

Better late than never to blog about Halloween, right?

Well, Erwin pulled off his "Plan B" Buzz Lightyear costume, and I was so proud. He sure did need quite a bit of help from me, which made me nervous bc I'm awful in this department. But we we did it and he pulled it off in just 2 1/2 days!! It was worth it to see him happy. But I must say, I was SO happy to get my kitchen back after this was done. It was insane.

Halloween was a busy day for us. We went to Wa'a's school party, then came home and rested for a bit before we headed to Erwin's work to go trick or treating! We were there for 2 and a half hours, and then we headed home and went straight to our ward for trunk or treat and dinner. I would not have gone, but I was in charge with the YW of the whole night, so we had to be there. We got home at 8:30 p.m. and we didn't go to the neighbors to trick or treat bc we were all SO exhausted from a long day.

Anyway, Erwin's work always does an amaaaaazing job at decorating each floor with such fun themes and decor. I love that they go all out and make it such a wonderful and fun experience for all the families and children that show up. It's always the best time and this year was great!

This little boy was star struck seeing Erwin

Every little kid wanted to stop and say Hi to Buzz! So many people stopped to ask for pictures or give hugs. It is so funny to see him be treated like a costume celebrity. Wa'a was annoyed with everyone who wanted to talk to his dad after a while.
