Our first snowfall came and went, and it was such a tiny sprinkle of snow. (disappointing!) But
the first snowfall is always SO exciting for me. I feel so nostalgic remembering my childhood and getting all my snow gear on to race my siblings outside to make snow angels and skip around the yard knee deep in snow.
I love to play with my kids and I love to be excited with them when something new happens. So when we woke up and saw snow, we scarfed down breakfast and I got them all bundled up to head outside as soon as possible! So by 7:30 a.m., we were out there laughing, running around and feeling the rush of excitement in us as we played together in the fresh, white snow.
We went back outside a few hours later and made a snowman, which was ridiculously hard with the type of snow it was and how little of it was around. But we did it! And Wa'a loved it. Clara walked all around the yard and was fascinated. She cried every time we had to go inside.
No snow has reappeared since then, and Utah so desperately needs it. But when it comes, you better believe we will run outside and get our play one!
