Per tradition, we got together with the Rivas' and Ally for Christmas Eve. This year we hosted the dinner, and it was great fun. Erwin made a delicious prime rib roast as well as BBQ rack ribs. Cam brought the sides and a dessert pie. It was a great feast and tasty as ever.
We started off with opening gifts from everyone and then moved on to dinner. After dinner the kids played and watched a movie while the adults played games. It's funny bc we all aren't game people, but we had such a fun time playing the one that Erwin had planned. There was a SO much laughing, which is my favorite.
It was made magical by having the first snowfall right as everyone was leaving for the night, and I just stood outside feeling insanely happy and giddy that I got my white Christmas.
It was a wonderful Christmas Eve, and we all had such a great time together.
