One Sunday, Erwin asked Wa'a to give him a haircut with his new scissors. (plastic) Wa'a loved the idea so much that he had us sit down, put on our cape (his blanket) got a step stool and gave us the best darn haircuts we've ever had.
He would say "Dad, sit very still. I'm gonna make you handsome." And "Momma, I'm brushing your hair now and it's pretty." "Momma, I'm all done and you look so beautiful!"
His sweet words and active imagination made the afternoon so fun. Now almost every Sunday, he gives us a fresh haircut. :)
