Birthday

Every other year, we go on a stay-cation for my birthday. It is usually the gift from Erwin and a few family members, and I enjoy getting away and having a change of scenery. But the kids make it so incredibly fun, and they ate up every second of our time at the hotel. Especially Wa'a. He kept asking if we lived there and if it could be our new house.
I was grateful for a good time.

I've learned that just bc it is January, hotel are always still packed with families over the weekend.

The kids could have swam the entire day.

For a heated pool, it was mighty chilly.

Baby and I hung out by the pool most of the time.

Clara would love to hide behind the curtain and look out of the window.

Or she was found cuddling the babe.

The hotel breakfast did not disappoint. Everything was really good.

The boys had a pillow fight every single day.

Every morning the kids would go find their swim gear and get ready to go.

We had to walk next door to the neighbor hotel one day bc our pool was broken. It was a chilly walk!

Next time we are staying at this neighboring hotel. It was a nicer, more private pool and seemed all around a more well put together and nicer hotel.

Always tears when it was time to get out.

We passed the time by building and playing with the bag of toys I brought.

We drove to Texas Road House to use the gift card we got for Christmas from Ally and my in laws. It was oh-so-good.

Tyler got a lot of attention while we ate. People loved his little beanie and would stop to tell us what a handsome baby he is. I loved it, but Erwin just wanted to eat his dinner in peace. ;p

We did CFM with Waa on Sunday.

Finally, my hot tub time!

Our last morning at the hotel.

Out of order picture. But here are the boys at church.

This chair was unusually comfortable. Erwin and I loved it.

This picture makes me laugh. Poor Wa'a. He cried and cried as we left the hotel. I couldn't believe he complied and gave a thumbs up in his picture while saying goodbye. His dream is to live in a hotel. We are all glad we had a good time!

Later that night Ally and The Rivas family came over. We ate shoyu chicken with rice and salad and a yummy drink. My cake was insanely good, and the gifts (from all the fam on this side) given were so "me" and thoughtful. We ended the night playing some VR and laughing hard. It was a great time and I was thankful! Here is to 34! (gulp. I'm old)
