Snuggles and laughter in my bed is my absolute favorite. So when I saw all my boys together, I took as many pictures as I could to capture the happiness in the moment. I am so grateful for Erwin as a loving and dedicated father to his sons, and for my boys who are strong, kind, smart, compassionate, adaptive and absolutely hilarious. I totally jam as a boy-mom. Dirty play, wrestling, running, adventure and all things dinosaur and monster truck are right up my ally.
But I always worry more with my boys, because there are so many ways Satan targets them, especially starting at a young age. I worry about the adversary trapping them into shame, fear, anger, temptation and danger. I've seen first hand at how young children can be affected and no matter the righteousness of the parents, their choices can hurt a family and themselves. With Satan's grip even stronger on our youth, I am so grateful for Erwin as my partner to help raise these boys. He is completely invested in their well beings, their souls, their testimonies and their happiness. We have talked many hours about how we can best raise our sons (sometimes we are on the same page and sometimes we are at odds) to find safety in the home no matter what, and to give them boundaries, unconditional love, protection and share our love of the gospel by word and deed. I have special boys. Their kind hearts alone will bless many. I am so grateful, and often scared, to be able to raise them in this world. Plus, they are just the cutest. :)
