Bike riding

During the summer we decided to start having the kids learn how to ride their bikes better. We could see Clara was ready for a big kid bike instead of her beloved tricycle, so we got her a purple one with streamers. She loves it, and so do I. Ty did not surprise us with his natural athletic ability by getting on Clara's unicorn scooter and picking it up right away, and being speedy while at it. We spend an hour or so in the Stake Center parking lot which is flat and has lots of trees for shade and a big grassy area for running play or rest. Sadly I have not been well enough to ever ride or get involved much while they ride, so I sit in a camp chair and cheer them on. But lately with my headaches, I can't even go to the church. So I stay home and rest while the kids join the Rivas cousins a few times a week on a neighborhood bike ride all together. I'm grateful for the outdoors and a joint love for bike riding with family.
