| Even with a major branch we had to cut off, we carefully tended to our peach tree and got wonderful results this year. |

I really love Pleasant Grove. Out of all the cities we have lived in, this community is by far the most impactful and wonderful. If we ever move, we will do all in our power to find a house here in PG and stay. We have witnessed on multiple occasions how the people of this town come together to love, serve and support others in various ways. There is a sense of togetherness and pride and it is full of rich traditions here, which I adore.
We went on a walk today, and saw that the Fire Department had been plastered with hearts and signs of support and gratitude for how hard they fought the Battle Creek fire.
We also noticed on our stroll a bunch of rocks placed all over with pretty painted pictures, quotes or words of encouragement. It excited the kids to walk around and discover where they had been placed, and it made Erwin and me smile that people took the time to place little things like this to uplift. We found them by trees, sidewalks, bus benches, and around bushes and flowers. We enjoyed it immensely and collected some smooth rocks of our own to do the same.

| sometimes we let the kids play on the playground near by if there arent other kids and we have masks. |
We recently had a huge fire up by the G by our home. BattleCreek fire. It took days to put it out and we had major smoke for days covering the sun and blue skies. One day there were federal state planes and helicopters that flew so low it made me nervous, but they were there to dump water and fire repellent on the mountain. We so appreciated the hard work of so many professionals.
We also had E Coli and other bad bacteria found in our water system a few weeks ago. We had to be on a boil advisory for 4 days, and the stores were ransacked of water and paper goods. It was frustrating to not have good, safe drinking water, but we appreciated the constant updates from our mayor and photos showing us just how hard everyone was working around the clock to get out water back to clean. We so appreciate the blessings of safe and drinkable water, and we again felt grateful for our community coming together to help us with any concerns or questions we may have had. It wasn't fun, but we made it out ok. :)
