Sunday church and service blessings

Our ward went back to church for the first time in six months. We are grateful they will be broadcasting it for those who do not feel comfortable attending yet. What a strange time. I'm so grateful we can be back in our ward buildings, but miss the good old days.

After church we went to the Rivas home to be apart of their home Primary Program

It was so cute to watch all the kids sitting together

Tyler and Kaleb :)

All the kids did a great job. Clara was confused and that stressed her out and made her bothered for a bit of time, but overall everyone did great.

Afterwards we came home and rushed to swing. He is getting so good at it.

One of the counselors in the Primary Presidency with me dropped off a "Happy First Day of Fall" goodie bag with food and a candle. I wasn't feeling super well and was emotionally down, but this small act of service was a blessing. It lifted my spirits and helped me feel loved.

When we found out the Rivas' were going to Oahu, I really wanted to take a load of off Cami and help make travel bags for her kids. Each child got a "Corona Bag". Inside they could easily find spare masks, wipes, gloves, tissues, Chapstick, Vitamin C drops, hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes.

I also made them travel goodie bags. Each was catered to the child with snacks and treats, stickers, crayons and one small toy or game.

Each child also got two activity books, catered to their interests and ages. They were so grateful and happy and I was very thankful I could serve them in this way. Easing burdens and supporting others is a blessing.

It was our turn again to clean the church. The woman who is in charge of this let families know that she is aware no one likes cleaning the building at 8 a.m. on a Saturday, but asked us to strive to see the blessings that come from the service of doing so. I still did not feel super well, but we all went as a family and we felt the blessings in me finding strength the entire time to be able to clean and to work together as a family to serve the Lord.

The primary program was adorable! And loved to see all the goodies/acts of service being exchanged. Hope you're feeling better!
