Easter 2021

Preparing for Easter is so fun. I love family traditions and helping create magical memories for my kids, especially with the holidays. This year Easter was wonderful, and we enjoyed the festivities.

The Easter bunny left blue footprints all over the house.

He even left a note!

I don't have pictures of their baskets or them opening them, which is baffling to me. But the Easter bunny sent them on a hunt to find their own baskets and the kids loved it. It was so fun to watch them figure out the riddles and run to see if the their answer was right to the clue. They were happy with their gifts and candy.

We went to my parents house for Easter dinner. We started with a huge egg hunt in their backyard. Each child had 28 eggs to find. That is a lot! Waa had blue, Clara pink, and Tyler green eggs.

Watching them excitedly find their eggs was such a joy. I felt so grateful for the effort my parents put in for them.

We usually try to do our big Easter Egg hunt with the Rivas family in our own backyard, but they were in MA with Ally. So we were ecstatic to still have an egg hunt and enjoy the chase.

My moms delicious and traditional hot cross buns.

We were gifted this!

Carrot cake cupcakes. They were the real deal, and I appreciated my moms hard work and talent that goes into her food.

All of my kids are finally big enough and brave enough to get on my parents see saw/teeter totter they bought for them. It is music to my ears to hear them giggle and watch them have so much fun.

We of course ended the night with my mom reading to them books. This is their absolute favorite thing, and they read for over an hour together. It was a lovely Easter.
