Uncle Rob stopped by a lot the first weeks. The kids loved his energy and followed him around.

They sat on his lap and enjoyed watching videos with him
Never have I ever waxed my brows or done anything to them besides fill them in with color to help them look darker or fuller. I've never done anything with my eyelashes either. But I had a coupon to a place in SLC called Beauty Brows and booked to get my brows waxed and dyed and my lashes lifted and tinted. The esthetician giggled when she started working on me bc she said I didn't really need a whole lot done. She said my brows were already shaped pretty well and my lashes were already dark. I was grateful she was so complementary bc I have never thought so and always feel a bit self conscious about them both. But the end result was awesome. I loved the better shaped and darker brows, and I didn't have to wear mascara for a while bc I enjoyed my darkened lashes.

Luckily the look was nothing drastic or shocking, so I was pleased with the results. Though Wa'a saw me and told me my brows look like boy brows. Pshh.
Clara had a day for two where she wasn't feeling well, which is unlike her. My mom immediately jumped into taking care of her and part of that was reading and snuggling Clara all morning long. I was so grateful.
One of the best Sno shacks in SLC is in Sandy. I so wanted to take the kids out for a trip to enjoy a massive shave ice and cool off from the heat. Well, the line was so long, the kids were miserable waiting, and Wa'a was mad to even be there in the first place. It was a reeeee-aaaal treat indeed to go on this outing. (eye-roll) The picture below makes me laugh now, but in the moment it was irritating, but I smiled anyway.

Wa'a is such a mood in this picture.
Clara and Tyler have been playing so well lately. They recently discovered this trick where Clara hold him upside down and runs around with him like this. It's a little unnerving, but they are careful and have so much fun.
Wa'a teases Clara relentlessly lately. All day it is a big thing between them and boy, does it get old to tell them to both to take a break from each other. But at the heart of it all, they are the dearest friends and Wa'a still protects her fiercely. So it was sweet to see Wa'a rush over to Clara and hold her while she sobbed after falling over on a kitchen chair and hurting her back badly. She gripped him tightly and he stroked her hair and kept telling her "It's ok Clara. I'm here. I've got you. I'm sorry that happened." It always makes my heart feel full when I see my kids be there for each other.
