Kids backyard fun, Girls night with Clara & Tess, and Rikki visits!

I love love love my kids. Playing outside with them is always so fun and Waa asked if we could take some sibling pictures that he would pose all the kids. I can't wait to hang these up in my house. Erwin took the boys out to a volleyball game at the Y, so I had a girls night with Clara and baby. She made us crowns, did a spa night, painted nails, made paper fairies and played shadow puppets with them. It was good to have time with her and I enjoy her creativity. My dear friend Rikki came to visit and brought her kids, including her new baby Hazel! we loved seeing them and holding the baby. The kids always end their time together with a huddle hug and fall to the ground. It's my favorite. Clayson is Clara's age, but he is a whole head taller than Waa! Baby Hazel!

Hiking!

Yup. We we went our our first hike as a family up a little canyon which is literally about 5 minutes from our house. It was such a fun hike! Erwin and I decided to invest in a backpack carrier for the baby, and we love it. It's so comfortable and Wa'a did so well sitting up high in it the entire time. He even fell asleep halfway to the top and then woke up about midway down to the car. The trail itself was uphill for a while with some rocks to get over, but it worked out great and felt so wonderful to be out in the fresh air and away from noise. It was a popular trail, with people of all ages and sizes and it was fun to chat with a few along the way. (Hiker people are almost always so friendly) It seemed like it was going to take foreeeeeeeeeever to get to our final resting place, which had a big lake. But we made it and we sat down, ate some snacks and hung out for a while. Sadly, there wasn't much water in the lake at that time of the year, so there wasn't much to loo...
